Sample Tour:
BE A TOURIST IN YOUR OWN COUNTY!
:: Held June 9, 2010 ::
The Osage County
Agritourism Council invited people to:
- Tour historic churches
- Tour a wood products factory
- Hear from a rancher about livestock and land conservation programs
- Have lunch at a historic church school, served by ladies of the parish
- Make a surprise stop for a trip down memory lane to Prohibition days in Osage County
COST for the day was $35 per person, including transportation on
a bus with tour guides aboard and lunch.
Tour operators are welcome to
contact us for customized tours and for information about planned tours and
events.

St Joseph Parish and the town of Westphalia invite you to their 175th Anniversary Celebration. An all-day event, including parade, private vendors, food, and live entertainment throughout the small charming town. Westphalia was settled by Fr. Ferdinand
M. Helias, S.J., for German immigrants. Visit that German Catholic heritage nestled in a European-looking valley just off Hwy. 63, south of the Hwy. 50 junction.
7th Annual Book Sale, LINN

The Friends of Osage County Library invite you to a fund-raising event. Go to the Osage County Community Center, Hwy 50 east of Linn. Donated items for sale include books, videos, and other miltimedia. Sale proceeds assist the library with programs and improvements. For more information contact the library at 573-897-2951.
