BE A TOURIST IN YOUR OWN COUNTY!
:: Held Tuesday, Oct 7, 2008 ::
The Heritage Community Bank of Chamois and the Osage County Agritourism  Council invited people to:  

• Visit to Three Rivers Electric Cooperative
• Tour of the historical St. Peters Church at Deer
• Walking tour in the 2 block downtown area in Chamois with stops at:
• Chamois Methodist Church
• Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church
• Emil’s Tool Museum
• A Whistle Stop B & B and Gift Shop
• Townley House
• Visit to the farm of Wayne Trachsel (Displays by MO Soybean Assn.)
• Tour of the School House on the Hill B & B
• Wine tasting event

LUNCH was provided by the Heritage Community Bank of Chamois and served at the Lion’s Club Community Building.

COST for the day was under $20 per person, including transportation aboard 2 buses, each with tour guides aboard

ZEWICKI HOUSE MUSEUM AND LIBRARY
The Osage County Historical Society museum facility is open for tours and research:

• Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
• Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to noon
• Sundays 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

HOLY FAMILY QUILTING CLUB
When: Thursday afternoons and evenings. During January, February, and March on Tuesday afternoons also.

St. Ann's Quilting Club
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Sacred Heart School basement; Highway U, Rich Fountain; take Highway 63 south from Westphalis, turn left on Highway E; in Rich Fountain, turn left on Highway U; school is at the top of the hill, on the left.
